UTA Virtual Maverick Experience Events

Hello Future Mavericks!

Join us Saturday, February 6th, from 11:30am to 3:30pm for Maverick Experience, a virtual event that gives future freshmen and transfer students a close-up look at what UTA has to offer. For more information visit: https://www.uta.edu/admissions/events/maverick-experience .

The event will include sessions on admissions, financial aid and scholarships, academic colleges and schools, and more. You will also have the opportunity to see campus in a special video presentation conducted by our Mav Elite Tour Guides. You will have the opportunity to speak with admissions counselors in a live virtual chat to discuss the admissions process. UTA representatives from each academic college and school will also be engaging in a live virtual chat to discuss academic majors and criteria.

UH Preview

Cougar Preview will be held on October 31, 2020 and November 21, 2020. Cougar Preview is UH’s largest virtual open house event—intended to provide an introduction to any student interested in the University of Houston. At Cougar Preview, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about admission requirements for, meet with your academic college of interest, and learn about how to finance your education. If you’re interested in more than one session, don’t worry! A recording of each session will be uploaded to an exclusive website sent to all attendees after the event. The best way to learn what UTSA has to offer is to experience it for yourself. Come to our Open House and see all that UTSA has to offer.

Presentations

Learn about how and what it means to be a Roadrunner. We’ll have multiple presentations at any given hour about our academic programs, admission requirements, financial aid and much more.

Tours

To help you experience life as a Roadrunner, we’re offering several types of tours including on-campus housing options and our Campus Recreation.

Workshops

We’ll have UTSA staff on hand in one of our Library computer labs to help complete your FAFSA, apply for admission through Apply Texas and answer any questions you may have.

Fairs

Learn more about the services offered to all Roadrunners. The fairs is an easy way to find out about the various offices on campus, such as dining, testing, career services and much more.
