Join us Tuesday , February 9th, for ‘UTA My Way’, a virtual event to celebrate and honor incoming Black and African American students. The virtual event will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and open to incoming freshman and transfer students. The event will include an overview of African American history at UTA, admissions and financial aid presentations, and a student panel of UTA black student leaders. Student attending the program will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win UTA swag or a UTA scholarship award. Come learn how UTA can be a part of your story! Students first, excellence always!
The event will include sessions on admissions, financial aid and scholarships, academic colleges and schools, and more. You will also have the opportunity to see campus in a special video presentation conducted by our Mav Elite Tour Guides. You will have the opportunity to speak with admissions counselors in a live virtual chat to discuss the admissions process. UTA representatives from each academic college and school will also be engaging in a live virtual chat to discuss academic majors and criteria.
