Our Purpose
It is the mission of the South Texas Area Recruitment Network to connect students, parents and high school counselors to higher education professionals and recruitment opportunities within the Rio Grande Valley region.
Membership Dues
$25 annual membership per institution. There is no restriction to how many members participate within the institution. However, each institution must designate one primary representative. This representative will be responsible for attending regularly scheduled meetings, acting as the liaison to their respective institution and renewing membership.

Each institution with a designated admission counselor for the Rio Grande Valley has made a commitment towards the recruitment of high school and/or community college students. Our network reinforces the efforts and investment of each institution, serving as a vehicle for your professionals to network with others for professional development, access to network resources and enhanced knowledge of territory. The following items are a list of tangible benefits granted to each participating institution:
- Participation in events coordinated by the network, which may include but are not limited to:
- College Fairs

- Access to the high school and community college contact database.
- Directory listing on website for all representatives in the territory.
- Free advertising opportunities on website and counselor newsletter.
- Professional development opportunities throughout the year.
- Participation in leadership roles within the organization.
