TACRAO Season Is Here!

Recruiters and Counselors, the Fall TACRAO fairs are upon us!

We have compiled the list of TACRAO fairs for the Coastal Bend, Laredo, and the Rio Grande Valley. As we get ready to hit the road and interact with students, here are a few tips for both counselors and recruiters:

Counselors

  • Make sure students are registered with GoToCollegeFairs.com and selected the appropriate TACRAO week.
  • Be sure to communicate any last minute updates or changes with college reps.
  • Take advantage of the fair to meet new reps and collect business cards.

Recruiters

  • Make sure you have shipped or brought enough materials with you. Using last year’s numbers can help, but it never hurts to have extra!
  • Be sure you get enough rest and stay energized throughout the week. Bring an umbrella, mints, and other TACRAO survival gear.
  • Network with other recruiters for tips on local restaurants, last minute fair changes, and any activities taking place during the week.
